Carbon smells flowery and sweet to me like lavender at first. I don't smell any of the pepper spicyness of Sauvage at all. I think it's the ambroxen but I'm not sure. I like that component of Sauvage. I do think Sauvage EDT is a bit too in your face. I prefer the EDP version because its a bit calmed down. However, I think because Sauvage has that sharper citrus, it seems to fill a room more than the more moderate Prada fragrance. Luna Rossa Carbon isn’t weak, it just seems much more subdued than does the Dior. The lavender has that effect and it is much more prevalent in Carbon. Sauvage for sure has the edge earlier on in the wear.
